Itinerary
- Windstar opened summer 2028 Europe sales with 348 itinerary combinations across five yachts.
- Season runs March through October 2028 in the Mediterranean and Northern Europe.
- New ports include Hamburg, Berlin, Binz/Rügen and Inis Mor in Ireland's Aran Islands.

- Pay-in-full bookings earn an extra 5 percent savings, stackable with other offers.
Windstar Cruises has put its summer 2028 Europe season on sale, giving travel advisors 348 itinerary combinations across five yachts operating in the Mediterranean and Northern Europe from March through October 2028.
The scale of the program matters for sellers: 348 bookable combinations mean more back-to-back and pairing options for clients, which Windstar is explicitly targeting with short "European getaways" designed to attach to longer vacation itineraries. The line is also adding new ports and fresh angles aimed at repeat Europe travelers — a segment that drives much of small-ship booking volume.
What's new in the 2028 lineup?
The headline additions for advisors:
- An expanded Germany program aboard Star Pride, including Kiel Canal and Elbe River transits, plus calls at Hamburg, Berlin and Binz/Rügen.
- A new call at Inis Mor in Ireland's Aran Islands, joining an expanded British Isles program on Star Explorer, Windstar's newest yacht. Experiences include scenic cruising past the Cliffs of Moher, city-center docking in Cork, Waterford crystal visits and foraging tours.
- Mediterranean builds on established Greece, Italy, France and Croatia programs: enhanced Grand Prix sailings, a Mystery Cruise roundtrip from Athens, and longer exploration options.
- Wind Spirit returns to the Adriatic for an extended season of one-week Venice–Dubrovnik sailings, with consecutive voyages combinable into a two-week trip without repeating ports.
The Venice–Dubrovnik pairing is a concrete selling point: back-to-back voyages with no port repetition let advisors construct longer Europe stays without cannibalizing the itinerary experience — a common objection among repeat cruisers.
What does the early booking offer pay advisors' clients?
Windstar has attached an Early Booking Offer to eligible newly released 2028 Europe voyages booked by Oct. 31, 2026. The package includes:
- Complimentary all-inclusive package: WiFi, gratuities and unlimited select beer, wine and cocktails.
- A $100 shipboard credit per guest.
A separate Pay Now, Save More incentive gives an additional 5 percent savings to guests who pay the cruise fare in full at booking. Windstar says the offer can be combined with the Early Booking Offer and Yacht Club Member benefits, subject to terms and conditions — worth verifying case by case when pricing complex bookings.
Why the two-year runway matters
Opening 2028 inventory in mid-decade gives group leaders and long-lead planners first pick of the highest-demand sailings — Grand Prix departures and the new Germany and British Isles itineraries are the likely sellouts. Advisors who hold space before the Oct. 31, 2026 deadline lock both the all-inclusive perk and the stacking discount potential for clients.
The season runs through October 2028, with full details at windstarcruises.com.
