Disney Cruise Line will open bookings October 19, 2026, for the maiden season of the 2,500-passenger Disney Believe, a 140,000-ton Wish-class ship scheduled to begin sailings from Port Everglades on December 18, 2027.

The dates and homeport were disclosed during a livestreamed event held onboard the Disney Dream. Tracy Wilson, senior vice president and general manager of operations at Disney Cruise Line, confirmed the deployment.

"We are so excited for this ship to join the fleet and bring new Disney stories to life at sea," Wilson said during the broadcast. She described the vessel as carrying "unique venues, dazzling family entertainment and world-class dining."

What is the deployment?

The Believe will run four- and five-night cruises to the Caribbean and the Bahamas out of Port Everglades for its inaugural season. The ship becomes the fourth Wish-class hull in the fleet, following the Disney Wish, Disney Treasure and Disney Destiny. Meyer Werft, based in Papenburg, Germany, is constructing the vessel.

The timing layers a second large-capacity Disney hull into South Florida ahead of the late-2027 holiday window. The Believe will sit alongside seasonal rotations already operated by the Disney Magic and Disney Dream out of Florida ports.

What is the on-board product mix?

Themed public spaces will draw from Zootopia, Monsters Inc., Tangled, Moana and Inside Out. Disney has used franchise-anchored venues as a merchandising lever across the Wish class, and the Believe extends that formula with five additional IP zones at launch.

Two concepts debut on the vessel. Oaken's Table — themed to Frozen's Arendelle Kingdom — runs as an entertainment dining experience. Sea Notes opens as a piano bar concept tied to The Little Mermaid. Disney has rolled out themed entertainment dining on prior Wish-class ships, and the Believe extends that pattern with an Arendelle-themed restaurant and an Ariel-inspired music venue.

To complete the franchise-led strategy, Disney confirmed character artwork for the vessel: Toy Story's Buzz and Woody will appear on the ship alongside a Tinkerbell-inspired crest.

What leads the accommodation tier?

The Tower Suite returns aboard the Believe with an interior drawn from Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World. The two-story stateroom sleeps eight passengers in separate living and bedroom quarters and has served as Disney Cruise Line's top-yield suite across the Wish class.

Disney did not disclose pricing. The line has historically marketed Tower Suites as the lead inventory for inaugural-season demand, a pattern that produced repeat sell-outs on prior Wish-class launches.

What is the booking calendar?

Maiden-season inventory opens October 19, 2026 — 14 months before the December 18, 2027 inaugural. The window matches the lead time Disney has used for prior Wish-class launches and lines up with final-payment windows that typically fall 75 to 90 days before sailing.

For travel sellers, the early opening lets agencies secure repeat Disney Cruise Line clients more than a year out. It also mirrors the multi-cabin booking patterns that have driven pre-inaugural demand for the Wish, Treasure and Destiny.

What has Disney not yet disclosed?

Disney did not release base pricing, cabin-by-cabin rates or final-payment schedules at the live event. Disney Cruise Line is expected to publish those details when general bookings open October 19, 2026.

The four- and five-night Caribbean and Bahamas itinerary set will also be confirmed at booking-open, with port-by-port schedules typically announced in the same window.

Looking ahead

Meyer Werft is targeting late-2027 delivery for the Believe, giving Disney Cruise Line a 13-month window between booking-open and the December 18, 2027, inaugural at Port Everglades to convert maiden-season interest into confirmed revenue.
