Heritage Expeditions Opens South Pacific Round Voyage With 20% Early-Bird
Heritage Expeditions opens sales for an 11-day Fiji, Samoa and Tonga round voyage from Lautoka in March 2027, with a 20% early-bird discount valid through October 30.

Itinerary
- 11-day round voyage from Port of Lautoka, Fiji, departing March 14, 2027, aboard Heritage Adventurer
- 20% early-bird discount applies to bookings made by October 30
- Itinerary covers Fiji, Samoa, Tonga and the French overseas territories of Wallis and Futuna
New Zealand family-owned operator Heritage Expeditions has put an 11-day round voyage from Fiji on sale, with a 20% early-bird discount attached to bookings made by October 30.
The "Tropical Islands of Fiji, Samoa and Tonga" itinerary departs the Port of Lautoka on March 14, 2027, aboard Heritage Adventurer. For sellers of travel, the geography is the operational story: Lautoka sits a short drive from Nadi International Airport, and Sydney sits roughly four nonstop flight hours away — access that lowers the friction of selling a remote expedition product to Australian and long-haul source markets.
The routing also calls at Wallis and Futuna, the remote French overseas territories that few cruise lines touch, alongside the three headline countries.
The program leans on cultural and natural content rather than conventional port calls. In Fiji, an archipelago of more than 300 islands, passengers join a "meke" — music, dance and chanting that tells stories of ancient legends — plus a traditional kava ceremony. Samoa adds the sacred Taualuga dance and content built around author Robert Louis Stevenson. Tonga, a Polynesian kingdom of more than 170 islands, many uninhabited, brings Tongatapu, Nuku'alofa and the waterfront Royal Palace into the itinerary.
Throughout the voyage, passengers get village and market visits, World War II history and wildlife above and below the waterline. Returning to Fiji, Heritage Adventurer sails around Fulaga, a crescent-shaped reef-limestone island in the Lau Group approximately 321.9 km from Viti Levu. On Taveuni Island, passengers can explore rainforest and waterfalls in Bouma National Heritage Park. A sea kayaking excursion with an expert guide is offered as an option.
Aaron Russ, commercial director and expedition leader, positioned the product for a broad buyer pool. "This voyage is for adventurers of all levels looking to explore off-the-beaten track, experience endemic wildlife encounters and time-forgotten cultures, then relax on white sand beaches and snorkel warm waters teeming with colourful corals and marine life," he said.
For agents, the pricing lever is time-boxed: the 20% early-bird discount expires October 30, giving trade sellers a concrete close window to work against for a March 2027 departure.
