Itinerary

- Carnival Liberty moved its Cozumel call, originally set for 10 a.m. October 9, 2026, up by about an hour.
- Carnival is monitoring Carnival Breeze, Dream, Jubilee and Panorama for potential turnaround changes.

- Passengers can text their sailing's code to CRUISE (278473) for alerts.
Carnival Cruise Line has canceled Carnival Radiance's call at Cabo San Lucas scheduled for Friday, October 9, 2026, and shifted Carnival Liberty's Cozumel arrival an hour earlier, as hurricanes Isaias and Simon and Tropical Storm Rachel force itinerary changes across West Coast and Gulf of Mexico deployments.
The changes hit two revenue-generating port calls on sold cruises. Carnival Radiance is sailing an eight-night Mexican Riviera voyage and still expects to return to its homeport of Long Beach on October 11, 2026, keeping its turnaround intact. Carnival Liberty, on a seven-night Western Caribbean cruise from New Orleans, moved its Cozumel call — originally set for 10 a.m. on Friday, October 9 — up by about an hour to avoid the weather window.
"Our Fleet Operations Center in Miami continues to actively monitor Hurricanes Isaias and Simon, and Tropical Storm Rachel," Carnival said. "The safety of our guests and crew is our priority, and our ships will always maintain a safe distance from the storms."
Which ships and ports are at risk next?
The bigger distribution risk sits with the turnarounds. Carnival said it is monitoring four ships for potential embarkation-day changes: Carnival Breeze, Carnival Dream, Carnival Jubilee and Carnival Panorama. Homeports in the storm paths include Galveston, New Orleans, Tampa and Long Beach — four of the line's core Gulf and West Coast gateways.
Three other vessels departed affected regions on schedule in recent days: Carnival Valor, Carnival Firenze and Carnival Paradise.
What should sellers and passengers expect?
For agents and operators, the watch list matters more than the two changes already made. A disrupted turnaround in Galveston, Tampa or Long Beach would cascade across back-to-back sailings and force rebooking conversations with customers already in transit.
Carnival has set up a direct communication channel: passengers on affected ships can text their sailing's code to CRUISE (278473) to receive updates. Each sailing carries its own code, and agents handling group bookings should ensure clients are signed up before departure.
Carnival said its Fleet Operations Center in Miami continues to track the storms' forecast paths over the next several days, with further itinerary adjustments possible across the seven-vessel affected fleet.
