Itinerary

  1. More than 300 departures from Port Canaveral across the 2028-29 deployment.
  2. Five ships sail year-round: Carnival Breeze, Firenze, Festivale, Glory and Mardi Gras.
  3. Over 200 visits scheduled to Celebration Key; every Carnival Glory sailing calls there.
  4. Carnival Breeze runs four 14-day Carnival Journeys voyages from October 2028 to February 2029, each visiting 13 Southern Caribbean destinations.
  5. Itineraries span three-day Bahamas trips to 14-day voyages.

Carnival Cruise Line has opened bookings for more than 300 departures from Port Canaveral across its 2028-29 deployment, putting five ships on year-round duty at the Florida port. The program, now on sale, spans The Bahamas, the Eastern Caribbean, the Western Caribbean and the Southern Caribbean, with itineraries running from three-day Bahamas getaways to 14-day Carnival Journeys voyages.

The deployment anchors heavily on Carnival's Paradise Collection exclusive destinations (the company's owned-and-operated port developments). The line has scheduled more than 200 visits to Celebration Key, its Grand Bahama flagship port, alongside stops at RelaxAway, Half Moon Cay, Amber Cove, Grand Turk, Puerta Maya and Isla Tropicale.

Which ships sail which routes?

The five-ship lineup consists of Carnival Breeze, Carnival Firenze, Carnival Festivale, Carnival Glory and Mardi Gras, each assigned a distinct market segment from short breaks to long voyages.

Short sailings — Glory and Mardi Gras. The two ships will run three- to five-day cruises to The Bahamas and the Eastern Caribbean. Every Carnival Glory sailing includes a call at Celebration Key, a detail that ties the port directly into the highest-volume, shortest-booking-window segment.

Week-long rotations — Breeze and Firenze. The pair will alternate Eastern and Western Caribbean itineraries, calling at Amber Cove, San Juan, St. Thomas, Belize, Cozumel and Isla Tropicale, among other ports.

Six- and eight-day — Festivale. The ship's Eastern and Southern Caribbean program splits into two formats:

  • Six-day Eastern Caribbean sailings combining Celebration Key and RelaxAway, Half Moon Cay
  • Eight-day Eastern Caribbean voyages calling at San Juan, St. Thomas and St. Maarten
  • Eight-day Southern Caribbean voyages reaching Aruba and Curacao

What about the longest itineraries?

Carnival Breeze will operate four 14-day Carnival Journeys voyages between October 2028 and February 2029. Each sailing visits 13 Southern Caribbean destinations, including Barbados, Grenada, Antigua, Aruba, Curacao, Dominica, Martinique, St. Lucia, St. Maarten and St. Kitts.

Why the inventory matters for sellers

The scale of the program — 300-plus departures from a single homeport, with 200-plus calls at Celebration Key — signals how firmly Carnival intends to bind its owned destination portfolio into Port Canaveral capacity. Agents and online sellers now have a three-year booking horizon of cabins priced around assets the line controls end to end, from the terminal in Florida to the private ports. For travel advisors, the certainty that every Glory sailing includes Celebration Key simplifies pitch and packaging decisions in the short-cruise segment, where Port Canaveral competes directly with Miami and Galveston for drive-market demand. All sailings are viewable and bookable through the line's channels as of the announcement, giving distribution partners an early window on 2028-29 inventory before rival deployments at the port are fully declared.
