Travelsphere Dangles £500 Voucher to Pull Agent Bookings Before December
Travelsphere is entering every new agent booking through November 30 into a draw for a £500 Christmas voucher, covering tours from £1,499 to £6,299 per person.

Itinerary
- Every new Travelsphere booking made through November 30 enters a draw for a £500 Christmas shopping voucher.
- The winner will be drawn at random on December 1; multiple bookings count as multiple entries.
- The incentive spans all European and worldwide tours, priced from £1,499pp to £6,299pp.
- Relaunched lines including the Page & Moy Collection, Royal Geographical Society Collection and Times Wine tours all qualify.
Travelsphere is offering UK travel agents a chance at a £500 Christmas shopping voucher for every new booking made through November 30 — a low-cost incentive aimed squarely at pulling forward peak-season escorted tour sales.
The mechanics are simple. Each new booking counts as one entry, and multiple bookings mean multiple entries. The winner is drawn at random on December 1 and notified by Travelsphere's trade team.
What's actually on the table?
A single £500 voucher is the entire prize pool. That's a modest outlay for an operator that sells tours priced from £1,499 to £6,299 per person — roughly the margin on one mid-range booking would cover it.
The incentive applies across all European and worldwide tours, including three recently relaunched brands-within-a-brand:
- The Page & Moy Collection
- The Royal Geographical Society Collection
- Times Wine tours
Which itineraries qualify?
Every tour in the brochure, but Travelsphere is highlighting four that show the price range on offer:
- Eight-day 'Amalfi Coast, Pompeii & Capri', from Naples, visiting Amalfi, Capri, Minori, Pompeii and Ravello — from £1,499 per person
- 12-day Page & Moy 'Vancouver Island: Wild Bears & Pacific Shores', from Vancouver, taking in Sooke, Victoria, Tofino, Campbell River and Whistler — from £6,299pp
- 12-day Royal Geographical Society 'Livingstone's Africa — Victoria Falls, Botswana & Zimbabwe', from Victoria Falls, visiting Kasane and Hwange — from £4,719pp
- Eight-day 'A Taste of Italy's Veneto', from Venice, covering Bassano del Grappa, Padua, Lake Garda, Bardolino, Soave and Vicenza — from £2,069pp
In plain terms: an agent who books the Vancouver Island tour generates an entry worth chasing, but so does a sub-£1,500 Italian break — the draw doesn't reward higher-value sales.
Why now?
Rachel Mould, head of trade sales UK at Travelsphere, framed the push as recognition rather than a volume play. "With peak season planning in full swing, we wanted to take the opportunity to recognise our travel agent partners for their ongoing hard work, enthusiasm and support," she said. "This voucher incentive is our way of giving back and spreading some festive cheer. We hope our lucky winner enjoys spending it on whatever makes their Christmas extra special."
The timing tells its own story. November is when agents lock in peak-season escorted tour business, and a prize draw expiring November 30 puts a hard deadline in front of exactly that booking window. What Travelsphere hasn't disclosed is how many entries it expects — or what a typical November booking volume looks like — so there's no way to gauge the odds an agent is actually playing.
Agents wanting details can find them at www.travelsphere.co.uk or by calling 01858 415210.
One £500 voucher won't reshape distribution, but it's a cheap way to keep Travelsphere front of mind during the highest-value selling weeks of the year — and it will be worth watching whether the operator follows up with a richer, tiered incentive once the draw closes.
