CruiseHQ Bets on Advisor Loyalty With Top Sails Rewards
CruiseHQ launches Top Sails Rewards in November 2026, opening with an Oceania Cruises incentive sending top sellers on Allura's 2027 Athens-Rome voyage.

Itinerary
- Top Sails Rewards launches November 2026 as CruiseHQ's advisor loyalty program.
- First initiative: Oceania Cruises sales incentive starting immediately, tied to milestone targets.
- Top sellers earn a sailing on Oceania Allura, Athens to Rome, 15–22 October 2027.
- Oceania Cruises calls at 600+ ports across 100+ countries and all seven continents.
- Oceania operates roughly two staff for every three guests.
CruiseHQ will launch a trade loyalty program, Top Sails Rewards, in November 2026, opening with an Oceania Cruises advisor incentive that starts immediately and runs toward a 2027 sailing reward.
The incentive pays out on targeted sales milestones. Top performers earn a berth on Oceania Allura for the Ionian Exploration voyage from Athens to Rome, 15–22 October 2027. The reward is a product experience, not cash: CruiseHQ wants winning advisors to sell the line having sailed it.
What does the program cover?
Top Sails Rewards is structured as a year-round umbrella rather than a one-off campaign. Its remit spans:
- sales incentives tied to performance across the CruiseHQ portfolio
- exclusive experiences, including shipboard familarization-style rewards
- broader rewards and advisor recognition schemes
CruiseHQ frames the program as a vehicle to make advisors engage more deeply with its platform and grow their cruise sales. The company has not disclosed milestone thresholds, qualification criteria, or how many advisor places the Oceania incentive will fund — details sellers will need before committing bookings to the campaign.
"Top Sails Rewards is about creating something that genuinely recognises the role travel advisors play in our business," said Caroline Hitchen, General Manager, CruiseHQ.
She positioned the program as infrastructure, not a single push: "We wanted to build a program that goes beyond a single incentive and gives us a platform to recognise our advisors through experiences, rewards and opportunities across the year."
Why Oceania Cruises anchors the first initiative
Oceania Cruises, a culinary- and destination-focused luxury line, operates voyages calling at more than 600 marquee and boutique ports across more than 100 countries and all seven continents. CruiseHQ explicitly designed the incentive to drive incremental Oceania bookings, meaning the operator is using reward inventory to shift share toward one brand within the advisor channel.
"Travel advisors are integral to our success, making this partnership a natural fit," said James Sitters, Director of Sales, Oceania for Oceania Cruises. "We are proud to support an initiative that invests in advisor development and rewards exceptional performance."
Sitters anchored the pitch in service ratios: approximately two staff members for every three guests, a figure he called a cornerstone of the brand experience that winning advisors will verify firsthand onboard.
Hitchen added that the Oceania campaign "gives our advisors something truly meaningful to work towards."
What it means for sellers
For advisors, the calculation is straightforward: bookings shifted to CruiseHQ and Oceania during the campaign window now carry a potential experiential payout on top of standard commission. The program also signals CruiseHQ's intent to compete on advisor proposition — recognition, rewards and experiences — rather than price alone, a distribution strategy consistent with cruise lines' heavy reliance on the trade channel.
What remains unmeasured is scale. CruiseHQ has published no targets for advisor participation, incremental booking volumes, or the program's budget. The November 2026 launch will show whether Top Sails Rewards becomes a durable loyalty structure or a wrapper for one-off incentives, with the Oceania campaign's results offering the first read.
