Air Canada Vacations put roughly 5,000 travel advisors in front of its 2026/27 product lineup during a seven-city Canadian roadshow, using the series to launch a B2B portal, an advisor toolkit and a gamified booking incentive that pays off in prizes rather than commission.
The tour operator staged the Product Launch roadshow in Halifax, Calgary, Edmonton, Vancouver, Quebec City, Montreal and Toronto, marking its return to Calgary and its first-ever product event in Quebec City. The message to the trade was distribution-first: give agents faster access to sales material and reward them for booking across the full ACV portfolio.
"Travel advisors are the true Holiday Makers behind every unforgettable vacation experience," said Nino Montagnese, VP at Air Canada Vacations. "From the launch of our new B2B Portal and Travel Advisor Toolkit to destination insights and rewards opportunities, we're committed to equipping these travel superheroes with the tools and support they need to inspire Canadians, grow their business and continue turning travel dreams into reality."
What does the B2B portal change for advisors?
The first phase of ACV's new B2B Portal acts as a centralized hub where advisors can pull marketing assets, flyers, training resources, business tools and updates from one location. The companion Travel Advisor SUN Toolkit bundles flight schedules, hotel and cruise grids, Groups resources, self-serve tools, accessibility information, destination guides, ACV&ME rewards details, ACV Options information and Welcome Guides with transfer and destination content.
For agencies, the practical effect is search time: the toolkit consolidates material that previously lived in scattered documents, letting agents spend more of it selling.
How does Book, Match & Win work?
The new booking incentive launched Sept. 23 and runs through Oct. 7, 2026, with eligible travel valid through Dec. 31, 2027. Covered products include:
- Sun packages and ePackages
- Cruise packages and cruise-only bookings
- Tour packages to Europe, Asia, Australia, South America and Central America
Each qualifying booking gives the advisor a shot at an interactive memory-matching game, accessed via their ACV&ME account, with the game link live until Oct. 14. The mechanic is a straightforward volume play: more bookings across more product lines, more chances to win.
Which partners joined the portfolio?
ACV announced new partnerships with Intrepid Travel and Excellence Resorts, with Explora Journeys coming soon. The additions extend the operator's reach into adventure travel, luxury all-inclusives and premium cruising for Canadian travellers.
What did 1.3 million votes reveal?
At the Toronto finale, ACV unveiled its second annual Travellers' Top Picks Awards, based on more than 1.3 million votes across 10 categories. Winners included Riviera Maya (beach), Cinque Terre (bucket list), Santiago (food), Rio de Janeiro (adventure), Prague (arts and culture), Phuket (wellness), Paris (romance), New York City (city break), Funchal in Madeira (hidden gem) and Nassau (family).
Toronto also hosted the first Hotel Partners of the Year Awards, voted by advisors: Sandals Resorts took Favourite Luxe Hotel Partner, Hyatt Inclusive Collection won Favourite Groups Hotel Partner, and Beaches Resorts by Sandals claimed Favourite Family Hotel Partner.
Beyond the launches, the roadshow flagged continued investment in new destinations, Europe expansion, cruise offerings, luxury travel, Groups solutions, self-serve enhancements and training. ACV is directing advisors to their Key Account Managers for details on Book, Match & Win and the toolkit — a signal that the operator intends the roadshow's tools to convert into bookings well before the 2026/27 season peaks.
